Cracks are beginning to emerge in the Kiev regime’s public facade of unity as Russian pinpoint strikes cripple the country’s infrastructure as winter deepens.

President Zelenskyy criticised the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, for doing what he described as a poor job setting up emergency shelters to help those without power and heat after waves of Russian missile and drone attacks.

Al Jazeera reported that Zelenskyy indicated that Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and his officials had not done enough to help.

“Unfortunately, local authorities have not performed well in all cities. In particular, there are a lot of complaints in Kyiv … To put it mildly, more work is needed,” he said, adding the level of services available in many Kyiv centres was not good enough.

“Please pay attention – the people of Kyiv need more support … a lot of [them] have been without power for 20 or even 30 hours. We expect quality work from the mayor’s office.”

For months, the Kremlin refrained from targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure following the launch of its Special Military Operation in February.

This restraint spared most the civilian population of Ukraine from the hardships of war but rather than inducing the Kiev regime and its NATO/EU sponsors into accepting a negotiated peace, this restraint was taken advantage of to flood the country with advanced weapons and ship them east to the Donbass.

Now that the Russian military is truly conducting a war on Ukraine the strain is proving too much to bear as millions now live in sub-freezing temperatures with electricity or running water while members of Western installed regime launch recriminations against each other.
