Solicitor, criminologist and speaker, Malachy Steenson pictured above, was one of a delegate of concerned citizens from Dublin’s East Wall community who voiced their concerns and demands to government representatives this afternoon.
Steenson told The Liberal that they met with Minister for Finance Paschal Donohue and Minister for Children Roderic O’Gorman.
The delegates told the Ministers that they had 7 days to close down the facility – a request that was immediately denied and turned down.
The good people of East Wall vow to fight and are expecting large numbers at a protest tomorrow, Saturday at 2pm in East Wall. Watch the video below:
