The fire rises! Major protest planned for East Wall on Saturday against migrant plantation as Varadkar says it’s ‘not right’ for people to object to the migrants

The resistance to the government’s migrant plantations across the country continues to grow with the community in East Wall, Dublin now leading the charge and with the biggest rally yet planned for this Saturday, November 26th at 2pm.

Protests were provisionally suspended from last Monday for consultations with political representatives, but the government shows no signs of reversing the decision to dump the military aged, single men in the working-class area.

Tánaiste, and soon to be Taoiseach again, Leo Varadkar doubled down on the government’s arrogance stating its “not right” for communities to have a veto on the dumping of third world migrants among them.

With the government under orders from its bosses in Brussels to see the new plantations of Ireland through to the end regardless of public objection, it looks like a collision course between the people and powers that be is inevitable.
