The Irish Nurses and Midwives Association (INMO) has just released the latest overcrowding figures, and it makes for very uncomfortable reading indeed for the Government.
According to the article published by the Irish Mirror, a total of 760 people are waiting for a hospital bed across the country today. This is the worst single-day figure ever recorded.
Minister for Health Simon Harris meanwhile is still enjoying his Christmas break and has not made any comment on the matter.
