Fine Gael and Fianna Fail get bump in new poll as Sinn Fein’s support drops




A recent opinion poll conducted by Ireland Thinks for the Sunday Independent has indicated a shift in support for the main Government parties in Ireland, reports RTE.

Fine Gael has seen a gain of two points, bringing their support to 21%, while Fianna Fáil has increased by one point to 18%. The third coalition party, the Greens, have maintained their support at 4%.

Despite a decrease of four points, Sinn Féin remains the party with the most support at 31%. The Social Democrats and the Labour Party have held steady at 5% and 3% respectively. Aontú also remains unchanged at 3%, reports RTE.

People Before Profit-Solidarity has seen a gain of two points, bringing their support to 4%. Independents and others have seen a slight increase, with their support rising by one point to 11%.

These results suggest a dynamic political landscape in Ireland, with changes in party support reflecting the evolving views and priorities of the Irish electorate, reports RTE.
