Flavoured e-cigarette products could soon be banned in the US under new proposals excepted to be submitted by the Trump administration.
In an announcement made on Wednesday, the US President said that he has become concerned with the issue of underage vaping and the potential health risks associated with the products.
President Trump who appeared beside his wife Melania, the Health Secretary Alex Azar and FDA commissioner Ned Sharpless, said that he wants parents to become aware of the problem.
He added that people are going to watch what we are saying and parents are going to be a lot tougher.
The administrations decision comes after six people died from vaping related illnesses in recent weeks.
Although new laws will propose a ban on flavoured e-cigarette products, it is believed that tobacco flavoured products will remain on the market.
