A privately owned plane went off runway in Kerry Airport yesterday causing an Aer Lingus flight to be diverted.
The pilot and passenger on board the plane during the incident were not injured.
The EI3204 flight from Dublin to Kerry was due to land at 1pm in Kerry Airport, but was forced to return to Dublin Airport. The 1.20pm flight from Kerry to Dublin was also cancelled. There were no other cancellations following the incident.
Later, a spokesperson confirmed that alternative travel arrangements brought the passengers to Kerry by bus.
