The historic city of Venice has flooded once again, as the tide reached a record height of 5ft.
Today’s tide peaked at around noon local time, as people helplessly looked on the rising waters.
Venice has now been hit by five high tides, causing the worst flooding in over 50 years.
Local authorities estimate that floods have so far caused around €1bn worth of damage.
