The infamous former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive is charged with 12 counts of failing to disclose to auditors the true value of some substantial loans.
Mr. Fitzpatrick, 66, is charged under Section 197 of the Companies Act 1990.
The loans were given to him, or people within his circle of influence, by Nationwide Building Society, between the years of 2002 and 2007. The loans were worth upwards of €139m.
The trial will get underway on April 13, and is expected to last around 8 weeks.
