Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has passed away this afternoon at the age of 94 in her Bel Air home in California.
Nancy is the wife of the late President Ronald Reagan who died twelve years ago aged 93.
The former Governor of California is widely regarded by both Republicans and Democrats, and indeed around the world as being the best President in recent history and one of the best of all time.
Nancy Reagan was well known for her ladylike manner and her gently spoken voice. She was a pillar of her husband throughout his political campaigning and when they were in office.
It’s regarded that without Mrs Reagan, Ronald would most certainly never have been President.
Her “Just say No” to drugs and her charity work for Aids awareness are the biggest marks she herself left on America.
The couple are survived by two children and 6 grandchildren.
