Tragic news this afternoon, as former football player Patrick Curtin passes away aged just 26.
He had sustained serious injuries in a car crash in Guatemala just before Christmas.

The news of Mr. Curtin’s passing was announced by Kerry GAA earlier today via an statement on their website.
It is understood that the 26-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after falling from a moving vehicle while driving in Guatemala last Friday. He had been working in the Central American country since last September.
He was initially treated at a local hospital before being transferred to a medical facility in Miami. He was in a coma at the time of his passing.
