A former National Football League player has killed himself after coming a mass shotting which killed three adults and two children.
Former NFL pro Phillip Adams, who killed himself early Thursday morning after going on a shooting spree in Rock Hill, South Carolina, murdering well known Doctor Robert Lesslie (70) along with his wife and two of his grandchildren and another man who worked on the doctor’s property.
Adams lived near the home of Dr. Lesslie, who was a well known physician in the area and across the state, having practiced medicine in Rock Hill since 1981.
The York County coroner’s office said Dr. Robert Lesslie, 70, and his wife, Barbara Lesslie, 69, were pronounced dead at the scene along with grandchildren Adah Lesslie, 9, and Noah Lesslie, 5.
Another person was taken to hospital with serious gunshot wounds.
