Former Trump attorney Sidney Powell has finally admitted that ‘reasonable people would not believe her election fraud claims.’
Ms. Powell briefly acted as an attorney on behalf of disgraced former President Donald Trump, and echoed his lies about election fraud without ever producing any evidence of it.
Powell, a known supporter of conspiracy theories, has recently been slapped with a billion-dollar lawsuit by Dominion, the company that built and operated the voting machines she and Mr. Trump claimed to be rigged to favor former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who had been dead over seven years by the time of the 2020 election in the United States.
Lawyers now acting on Ms. Powell’s behalf now admit that her claims about election fraud were not ‘based on fact.’
