The former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for a global government to be temporarily formed by world leaders to help combat the Covid-19 virus.
The ex-Labour party leader has said that a taskforce of world leaders, health experts and the heads of the international organisations should be formed and have the power to exercise executive powers to coordinate the global response the spreading virus.
“This is not something that can be dealt with in one country. “There has to be a coordinated global response.” The former Prime Minister has publicly stated and said that this should be discussed at the virtual meeting of the G20 nations which is being held this week and chaired by Saudi Arabia.
