Four men have been charged following the alleged assault of a man in Castlebar last August.
The incident occurred during the early hours of August 23rd on Tucker Street, where gardaà discovered a man in his 20s unconscious outside a licensed premises after what is alleged to have been an assault.
The injured man was taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries. reports Breaking News.
Four suspects — three men in their 20s and one in his late teens — were arrested in connection with the investigation and have since been charged.
They are due to appear before Castlebar District Court on Friday morning.
