Fourth puppy finally saved from mine shaft

Following the incident were four beagls fell down a 100ft mine shaft on Monday while hunting with their owner, he fourth puppy has ginally been rescued.

After two and a half hours the Coast Guard finally retrived the fourth dog at Leap and Glandore.

The decided to lower the owner into the shaft so the dog could hear a familiar voice.

This is not the frst time Coast Guard volunteers were needed in rescure operation, in May, a Staffordshire Terrier, fell down a 150ft cliff at Rabbits Cove.

The Staffordshire Terrier, managed to survive the fall and escape with a broke leg.
