
French authorities seized a Ryanair aircraft moments before it took off, in a row over unpaid subsidies.

The incident happened at Bordeaux Airport in France. All 149 passengers were forced to leave the plane and wait five hours for another flight.
It is understood that Ryanair paid the outstanding fine, some €525,000, within 24h of the incident. French authorities handed the aircraft back to the airline after securing payment.
