Frozen 2, the sequel to 2013’s highly successful film, is well on its way to becoming a huge financial hit for Disney.
The movie has so far raked in $127m during its opening weekend in America alone, far exceeding market expectations of around $100m.
Worldwide, Frozen 2 has taken in $350m in box office tickets, setting a record for the biggest global opening for an animated film ever.
Disney has had a hugely successful year so far, as five of its productions have made over $1bn each, and Frozen 2 is sure to become the next money spinner.
