The funeral of Ashling Murphy will take place this morning in St. Brigid’s Church, Mountbolus, County Offaly before she is buried at Lowertown Cemetery.
According to RIP.ie, the 23-year-old has been reposing at her family home since Sunday with prayers and the Rosary each night.
There has been a huge outpouring of grief internationally since Ashling’s tragic death and to take account of the number of people who want to express their condolences, the funeral will be live-streamed for people who are unable to be in the church.
