Gardaí in Co Louth have confirmed that two men have died following a single vehicle collision in Carlingford this morning.
It is understood the two men both aged in their 20s, were killed when they crashed on the R173 Newry Road, at approximately 12.30am.
The investigation has been handed over to GSOC as it is believed that Gardai attempted to stop the vehicle before it crashed.
