There was good news for Irish fans in the West as Galway City Council confirmed a fanzone will be set up on Galway docks for Sunday’s Ireland v France crucial Euro 2016 clash in Lyon.
It is understood the match will be shown during the Rock the Docks festival this weekend.
The popular festival which opens on tonight will include the Riptide Movement, followed by The Strypes on Saturday and will feature the highly anticipated match on Sunday.
