A gang of between 10-20 youths assaulted three cyclists before robbing their bikes in Clondalkin, Dublin, in recent days.
It is understood that the gang set upon the cyclists in the area nearby the Ninth Lock along Dublin’s Grand Canal.
The victims were kicked, punched, and had bottles thrown at them. One of the cyclists, a female in her 20s, sustained a sprained ankle in the attack.
The perpetrators ran off with two bikes.
Gardai are investigating.
