There’s a major incident occurring the Southwest French town of Lourdes, France, famous for its Shrine where Our Lady appeared to Saint Bernadette.
We’ve received reports that a former military man aged 50 has taken two people hostage in a house in the centre of the town.
A number of people heard gunshots being fired in and around the house and police have rushed to the area.
It’s understood that police have surrounded the house with the bomb disposal unit called to the scene.
