Two and a half years ago, a garda was brought up in court on charges of corruption, reports RTE.
39-year-old Mark Duffy, whose address is in Dublin 15, is charged with burglary and tampering with evidence.
His bail was remanded till May, reports RTE.
Garda Duffy made an appearance at Dublin District Court as a result of a criminal investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Unit of An Garda Síochána.
He faces charges for two offenses that he is said to have committed over the course of six months, from June to December 2021, reports RTE.
