Gardai have launched a major investigation after a number of migrants were found hiding on a ship in County Waterford.
It’s understood that a total of eight men – believed to be of Eastern European extraction, were found on board and are thankfully in good health.
Crew on the cargo ship discovered the men on the ship which travelled from France to Belview Port – near Waterford. It’s understood that all men will be handled via the Irish immigration law.
