Gardaí have launched an investigation after eight men were found hiding ship in Waterford.
The investigation comes after men believed to be Eastern European nationals were found onboard the ship which travelled from France to Belview Port.
Gardaí say the men who are in good health will be processed under Irish immigration law.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing and as of yet the nationalities of those onboard are not known.
