Gardaà in Co Meath have begun an investigation after a young boy was allegedly doused in petrol following an incident at a private residence.
According to LMFM, the investigation comes after a 10-year-old had petrol poured over him at a house in Bettystown Co Meath, last Wednesday.
It is alleged that a man poured the substance over the boy after he went retrieve a football which was kicked into the man’s garden.
Gardai in Laytown say they have been made aware of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
