Gardaí in North Dublin have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 30s was stabbed over the weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man was stabbed in the thigh on Drogheda Street, in Balbriggan, at approximately 3:30am on Sunday morning.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
