Gardaí in Co Cork have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 40s was seriously injured following a stabbing incident on Sunday.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man was stabbed multiple times at Lynch’s Quay, Cobh in Cork, at approximately 8am on Sunday morning.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries and a man aged in his 20s was arrested following the incident.
