Gardai in Co Tipperary have begun an investigation after a man died following a house fire in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood that the man died following a fire at a house in Roscrea at approximately 4am this morning.
Gardai say a number of fire units attended the scene and the man was sadly pronounced dead.
They added that the man’s body has been taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem examination will take place.
