Gardaí in Co Wexford have confirmed that an investigation is underway after a man was killed following a stabbing incident in Enniscorthy.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man was found with stab wounds in Ashbrook Estate shortly after 12am this morning.
Gardaí say a man aged in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being detained at Wexford Garda Station.
