Gardaí in Co Kildare have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 20s was injured following an assault on Friday evening.
It is understood the man sustained stab injuries following the attack at Newbridge Train station.
Gardai say the man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital following the incident, but it is believed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
