Gardaí have begun an investigation after a man aged in his 30s was assaulted in West Dublin over the weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man was stabbed outside a nightclub on the Naas Road in Dublin 22, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Tallaght Hospital, but is believed that his injuries were not life-threatening.
