Gardai in Co Wicklow have begun an investigation after a man was injured in a shooting incident this morning.
It is understood that the investigation comes after a man aged in his 20s was injured following an incident at Hazelbrook Court, Rathnew, at approximately 7:15am.
Gardai say the injured man was taken to hospital but it is believed that his injuries are not life threatening.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
