Gardaí in Co Kerry have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Tralee, on Monday afternoon.
It is understood the victim, who is aged in his 60s, was involved an altercation on a street in Moyderwell outside the Kerry Library, at approximately 2pm.
Reports say the man was brought to University Hospital Kerry with a number of injuries although they are not thought to be life-threatening.
Gardaí say they are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and contact them.
