Gardai in Dublin have launched an investigation after a person died in a house fire on Friday night.
It is understood the investigation comes after the remains of a person were found at a house in Stannaway Avenue, Crumlin, at approximately 9pm last night.
It is understood that a number of units from Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene.
Gardai say they are currently awaiting the results of a post mortem examination in order to determine their investigation.
