Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after pan explosive device was thrown through a window of an elderly pensioner’s home earlier this week.
According to Dublin Live, the disgusting incident occurred in the Rutland area of Crumlin, on Monday night.
It is understood that a device believed to be a gas container was thrown through the window of the elderly woman’s house.
Dublin Live, say a 70-year-old was alone in the house at the time of the incident.
However thankfully Gardaí confirmed that the elderly woman did not sustain any injuries as the device failed to ignite after it was thrown into the house.
They also say an investigation is currently ongoing.
