Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a Dublin Bus driver was allegedly assaulted by a man in Finglas last Friday.
According to Dublin Live, the investigation comes after the bus driver was assaulted whilst driving on the Finglas Road in Finglas last Friday evening at approximately 7pm.
Dublin Live say a number of eyewitnesses were left in shock following the incident which saw the driver being stamped upon whilst lying on the ground.
Gardaí say they have been made aware of the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
Meanwhile Dublin Bus say they are currently assisting Gardaí in their investigations after the driver sustained minor injuries.
