A Garda investigation is continuing this morning after human remains were discovered at a construction site in Dundalk, Co Louth on Wednesday evening.

The investigation comes after a building crew discovered the remains whilst carrying out work at the house on Mary’s Street North in the town.
Gardaà say they currently examining the scene and are waiting reports from a forensic anthropologist and the State Pathologist.
They also say the scene has been preserved and is currently cordoned off.
