Gardaí in Letterkenny Co. Donegal have launched an investigation after a man was left hospitalised after a
mass brawl in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It is understood the huge brawl which involved 20 men escalated after fight between two men broke out in a takeaway on Letterkenny’s Main Street .
It is thought the victim of the attack was left unconscious at the scene and was rushed to hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Local media reports say an ambulance and two Garda units were rushed to the scene, however no arrests have been made.
