Gardaí in Co Roscommon have confirmed an investigation is underway after a man aged in his 60s suffered serious head injuries in a workplace accident on Friday.

It is believed TH tragic incident occurred on a farm near the village of Arigna, which is around 25 kilometres away from Boyle.
The man was quickly taken to Galway University Hospital, after emergency services attended the scene but he has since been moved to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin were his condition is described as serious.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are say an investigation is currently ongoing.
