Gardaí in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has sadly died following a road traffic incident in Ringaskiddy, on Tuesday evening.
It is understood the man was killed when he collided with a car near Lough Beg, Ringaskiddy, at approximately 8pm.
Gardaí say the driver of the car was uninjured in the incident, but the motorcyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
