Authorities in the Netherlands have confirmed that they have arrested another man aged in his 40s in connection with the Utrecht tram shootings which killed three people.
In an announcement, police investigating the case say the man was arrested in the city as part of a follow up investigation into the shootings which occurred on Monday afternoon.
Police say the man is suspected of having an involvement in the shootings and is currently being questioned.
Meanwhile police also say two men arrested on Monday in connection with the shootings have been released.
However the chief suspect Gokmen Tanis currently remains in custody.
