Gardaí in Waterford City have launched an investigation after staff were threatened by a man during a robbery on Saturday.
According to The Irish Mirror, the investigation comes after a man threatened staff at a garage on the Cork Road, at approximately 5pm.
Gardaí say the man who was wielding a knife threatened staff before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash taken from the till.
Gardaí say no one was injured during the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
