In breaking news this evening, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to hospital in London for a number of wide ranging tests ten days since confirming he has coronavirus.
Johnson, 55, still has persistent symptoms and went on the advice of his doctor, Downing Street confirmed
A spokesperson for the British PM said he “thanks NHS staff for all of their incredible hard work”.
The spokesman said that Johnson also urged the public to “continue to follow the government’s advice to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives”.
