Gardai in Co Leitrim have begun an investigation after the body of a man was found inside a chapel.
It is understood that the investigation comes after the man aged in his 20s was tragically found dead inside Costello Memorial Chapel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday.
Gardai say the man’s body has since been taken to Sligo University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.
They added that the results of the post mortem examination will determine the course of their investigation.
