A Garda investigation is underway this morning after the body of a man aged in his 40s, was found inside a burnt out car in Kililney on Thursday evening.
It is understood the investigation comes after Gardai were alerted to the incident yesterday evening.
Gardai say upon their arrival they discovered the man’s remains inside the vehicle.
They also say the man’s remains have since been transferred to Loughlinstown Hospital, where a corners post-mortem examination will take place.
