Gardaí in Co Donegal have begun an investigation following an aggravated burglary at a house over the weekend.
It is understood the investigation comes after two people aged in their 20s were tied up at the property in Beaugh, Malin, when a group of armed men forced their way into the house.
Gardaí say although thankfully no one was injured in the incident, the group of four masked men fled the scene with a sum of cash.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
