Gardaí in Co Donegal have confirmed that they are currently searching for a young teenager after he allegedly attacked two young boys before demanding money from them.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, Gardai say they are currently searching for a boy believed to be aged between 13 and 14 years old after he allegedly attacked two boys aged 11 and 13 in Letterkenny, over the weekend.
It is alleged that the boy attacked the two boys on Pearse Road close to the Station House Hotel, at approximately 11am on Saturday morning.
During the altercation the young teenager apparently punched one of the boys in the face after they refused to hand over money.
Gardaí say they are currently reviewing CCTV footage in the area and are appealing to the owner of a red car who had to swerve out of the way of the boys to come forward and contact them.
