Make Ireland Great Again: President Donald Trump to visit Ireland on Wednesday, June 5th

Arguably the most powerful man in the world, the US President Donald Trump will officially visit Ireland on Wednesday June 5th.

In an announcement made on Tuesday evening, White House officials confirmed that President Trump will visit Ireland as part of his visit to the EU.

President Trump, who will likely walk back into Office in 2020, will meet the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at Shannon Airport upon his arrival.

In an official statement, the White House said the following:
“President Donald J.Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have accepted the invitation of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar of Ireland to visit Ireland while they are in Europe for a state visit to the United Kingdom and for events in the United Kingdom and France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.”

“The President and Taoiseach will hold a bilateral meeting in Shannon on June 5.”

It is expected that the US President will stay at his own private golf course in Doonbeg upon his visit.
